Who will care for my child?                                                                                              Our staff members are loving, dependable Christians who have a passion for caring for children and watching them grow and learn. Most have been at Pine Grove for many years and have the experience necessary to properly care for your child. All employees receive a background check before they begin employment. Staff members are certified in first aid, CPR and bloodborne pathogens every year and they receive training opportunities in other areas throughout the year.

Are you open whenever school is not in session for teacher workdays, etc?  Yes, we are open except for the following holidays: New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the following Friday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. In circumstances of inclement weather, we follow the Clover School District closings. We will post those closings/early dismissal on our webpage, Facebook page, and on the local news stations. We will also send emails and text messages.

What is the student-teacher ratio?                                                                                SC Department of Social Services Childcare Division has rules and regulations concerning ratios for different aged children. We follow and strictly adhere to their regulations.

Will my child be in a learning environment?                                                                One of our goals is to ensure that your child is ready for the next phase of their young lives. We do this by teaching age-appropriate lessons and use the ABeka curriculum for ages 2-4. ABeka is a Christian-based, traditional teaching method.                                     Visit https://www.abeka.com/ChristianSchool/ScopeAndSequence.aspx for more info.

Will my child receive lunch?                                                                                            Yes, we provide at no additional cost a hot, nutritious lunch every day in our child development center and follow the guidelines set forth by SC Department of Social Services Childcare Division. We also provide healthy snacks in the afternoons. Our after schoolers receive a snack when they arrive here from school. Our K4 students, as well as our summer campers, bring lunch from home.
